Ben Hsieh founded AIpoint in 2021 and has served since its inception as president, chief executive officer, and a member of the board of directors.
The story began when an environmental protection agency official inspected wastewater discharge from my father's electroplating factory, igniting my passion for environmental engineering. Balancing studies with part-time work, I pursued education in this field, culminating in a Ph.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. After years in water treatment at TSMC and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (EDF), I transitioned to AI in environmental technologies. By integrating AI into water treatment, I strive to develop impactful solutions for a more sustainable future, aiming to create a water-friendly environment for Taiwan and beyond.

Experience
- Served as Principal Engineer in the Facilities Department at TSMC for seven years. Participated in the construction of factories in the Taichung area.
- Served at the EDF, I participated in government projects, providing guidance on water treatment for over 400 different industries.
